The cake is prepared in 10 minutes, then it is for one hour in the oven and then you can already enjoy it! It is light, this dough has consistency a bit like shortbread. Mainly it is super thin. It is the first recipe that I tried from Dita P. You use any fruit, I grabbed plums which I had at home. I was surprised that Dita makes crumble from all-purpose flour and powdered sugar .. in my family it has been always made from plain flour and caster sugar. But this option is good. You can go wrong with this cake, so just try it.
200 ml of sour cream
85 g of granulated sugar
1 spoon of vanilla sugar
2 eggs
5 tablespoons of butter, melted
180 g of semi-fine flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
500 g of plums (I used 300 g of plums for one half of cake and the second half was covered by 3 big apples)
Crumble:
80 g of all-purpose flour
50 g of powdered sugar
50 g of butter
cinnamon
slices of almonds
Preparation:
In a bowl, mix sour cream, all kinds of sugar, egg and melted butter (careful it can not be to cold - I suggest you mix it with 200 ml of warm milk). In a second bowl mix the flour with the baking powder and slowly add it to the mixture in the bowl.
Pour the dough on a baking sheet and put fruit on the top. In a bowl, mix together the ingredients for the crumble and use your fingers to create a crispy crumble. Put it on the cake. At the end, sprinkle the cake with cinnamon (the amount depends on how much you like connamon) and slices of almonds. Bake it at 180 degrees for about 50 minutes.
