TYPICAL CZECH WALLACHIAN CAKE

My Wallachian frgal was reminding me of huge wheels. Anyway, they were gone so fast!

I was inspired by Czech magazine Marianne

Dough:
600 g of fine flour
400 g of coarse flour
240 g of butter
240 g of sugar
60 g of yeast
4 egg yolks
milk as needed
salt

Filling:
500 g of curd
2 eggs
100 ml of whipping cream
50 g of butter
50 g of sugar

jam mixed with rum
almonds

Preparation:
From raw materials, carefully prepare dough, which must be very well leavened. Divide it into 5 equal parts and let it leaven again. Then roll the dough into a circle with a diameter of 30-32 cm. We can also use cake tins to paint the circle. The dough be equally thick, just create a side of about 1 cm wide and brush with egg yolk. Then mix the filling and pour it on the dough, with jam in the middle and let it leaven again. Bake in oven at 180 °C for about 20 minutes. After baking, you can pour the edges with melted butter. When the cake is cold, the drizzle it with butter sauce, prepared with melted butter, sugar, vanilla and a little rum.
