SAN FRANCISCO FOR FIRST-TIME VISITORS

San Francisco immediately became my favorite city in California. Which places are total must-see during your first visit?

MUST-VISIT

San Francisco is beautiful, no doubt about that. It is located in the northern California and near Silicon Valley, where technology companies are present, such as Google, Facebook, PayPal and other giants. This makes San Francisco more expensive, but the salaries correspond. 

I was fascinated by the hills, Pier 39, Golden Gate Bridge, but also by little streets. Life here is pulsating and perhaps you can never get bored. In addition, there are a lot of small towns nearby, which are also worth a visit. I definitely recommend to drive along the coast, you will be rewarded by unforgettable views.

LOMBARD STREET

Lombard Street is one of the biggest attractions in the city. You can find 8 hairpin turns, one after the another. It is definitely a great experience when you walk there. However, when you drive a car, it must be true adventure!

ALCATRAZ 

Alcatraz is an island and mainly former prison. Nowadays, it is an attraction for turists and it is worth a visit, I am sure.

PIER 39

Pier 39 is unique attraction where you can find shops and restaurants. Bubba Gump is probably a must-visit restaurant. Additionally, there are many street artists and mainly a huuuuge number of sea lions!

BUBBA GUMP SHRIMP CO.

One of many restaurants across America. Bubba Gump has shrimps and also a map and other signature things of Forrest Gump. You will not regret your visit. But the place is very busy!

GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE

And here it is. Big boy! Why orange color? Because of the visibility for boats :) When you get there, you will not resist and you will make numerous photos, just like me. 

San Francisco is amazingly international city. I mentioned here the main landmarks, but there is much more! It is also university city since there is University of San Francisco. And why the city amazed me the most from the entire California? It is quite big city, there are many parks, there is sea, beautiful architecture and many museums.. I am sure I will come back sometime!
