OK, I will not take this cake as my glory. This delicious cake baked my mum. I only prepared the currant :) Although, my mum is quite skillful. Once she made Danube waves (in Czech dunajské vlny, not sure about the translation) and it was true foodporn! I hope that I will taste them once again sometimes! You know, when someone bakes for you, it just tastes a little better.
Ingredients:
500 g of fine flour
150 g of granulated sugar
a pinch of salt
15 g of vanilla sugar
1 egg
200 g of butter, melted and cooled down
Curd filling:
400 g of curd
200 g of sour cream
100 g of granulated sugar
15 g of vanilla sugar
4 eggs
+ Currants, or any fruit, which your mouth desires at the moment
Preparation:
First of all, sieve the flour. Add sugar, salt, eggs and finally butter. Knead with your hands properly. Take aside about one quarter of dough for the crumble.
For the filling, mix curd, sour cream, sugar and gradually add egg after egg while whisking.
Put the dough into the form, add curd filling and fruit. On the top, sprinkle cake dough.
Bake at 160 degrees for about 45 minutes.
