This cake experienced the golden wedding anniversary of my grandma and grandfather. The combination of crispy dough, apples and egg whites with almonds is soo tasty.

The cake tastes great not only the very first day, but also 5th day. It is smooth and flavors perfectly go together. No matter if you eat it for breakfast or coffee snack - you will be satisfied anyway.

Ingredients for the dough: 
250 g of semi-fine flour 
5 eggs 
120 g of sugar 
2 teaspoons of baking powder 

Ingredients for the apple filling: 
700 g apples, peeled and grated 
500 ml apple juice 
package of vanilla pudding 
2 teaspoons cinnamon 
cup of walnuts 
handful of raisins 

Egg whites: 
4 egg whites 
100 g sliced ​​almonds 
about a cup of sugar 

For the dough: Whip the eggs with the sugar until thick foam and gradually add the flour mixed with baking powder. 

For the filling, mix all ingredients in a bowl. 

Whip the egg whites until together with sugar and then, stir in almonds. 

Pour the dough into a cake tin, add apple filling and snow from egg whites. Bake for about 50 minutes at 160 degrees.
