CHOCOLATE FLOURLESS CAKE

My mum got this recipe from her colleague. I does not contain any flour or milk product, just eggs, chocolate, almonds, sugar, butter and pudding powder. It is a nice change from all cakes and it tastes like a brownie. OK, just a little. 


Ingredients: 
200 g dark chocolate 
150 g of butter 
5 egg whites 
pinch of salt 
5 egg yolks 
100 g of sugar 
spoon of vanilla sugar 
100 g ground almonds 
1 chocolate pudding powder 
teaspoon of baking powder 

whipped cream for decor

Preparation: 
Melt chocolate with butter and let it cool down. 
Whip egg whites with salt until it gets thick. 
In another bowl, whip the egg yolks, sugar and vanilla sugar into nice foam. Add chocolate with butter. 
Finally, stir in almonds and pudding powder and gently stir in the snow. 
Put the dough into the cake tin and bake at 160 degrees for about 40 minutes. 

Keep the cake wrapped in a foil. 

TIP: you can use vanilla pudding powder and add cocoa
