YELLOW CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE CREME

I love cakes since the prenatal age. And I have always loved cakes with creme and chocolate. Well, I love everything chocolate, spicy and fried. Just strong flavors. However, I do not want to look like an elephant so I made a cake with ligher creme.. although, there is a mascarpone.. oh no.

Dough:
2 cups of fine flour
3/4 cup of rapeseed oil
2 eggs
1 cup of milk
pinch of salt
vanilla pod
1 and 1/2 cup of ground sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 cup hot water

Filling:
250 g mascarpone
500 g curd*
half cup of granulated sugar
150 g of chocolate
2 teaspoons cocoa

+ just a little bit of Rum for sprkinkling the baked dough

* Curd is a tough one. It is just a Czech thing. You can replace it with Philadelphia and mix it with mascarpone.

Decor:
tablespoons of cocoa for sprinkling
few hazelnuts

Preparation:
1, First whip the egg whites and add half the sugar.

Whip the egg yolks with the remaining sugar and oil. Mix the flour with salt and baking powder in another bowl. One by one add flour and milk into the egg yolk mixture. Then add the cocoa, vanilla and water (carefully). In conclusion, gently stir in the snow.

Bake at 150 degrees for about 50-60 min.

2, The creme: Melt the chocolate. In the bowl, mix curd (or Philadelphia) with mascarpone Whip and then add sugar and melted chocolate.

3, Ideally bake the dough the day before.

4, Cut the dough in 3 parts. Every part drizzle with rum. Spread the creme on each part and finally garnish with hazelnuts and sifted cocoa. Anyway, imagination has no limits, my cake is quite simple. I did not say that my imagination is simple - just sayin´.
