SUPER CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE CREAM

With the approaching summer there is nothing better than to bake a chocolate cake. With whipped cream, chocolate sauce ... maybe I should start thinking about visiting Alaska instead of the beach. Even my brother was in heaven. And he eats dark chocolate very rarely.


After a series of cakes, I had a craving for cake. And when I say cake, I mean chocolate! Since I did not want to bother with cake two hours, I chose a variant of chocolate sponge cake with cream and chocolate sauce. Especially the cream was so good that I would not have a problem to eat the entire thing in a few minutes.




Dough: 
250 g of fine flour
2 spoons of baking powder
pinch of salt
250 g of sugar
spoon of vanilla sugar
4 tablespoons of cocoa
160 ml of oil (I recommend canola)
160 ml of milk
4 eggs

Filling: 
250 g of 31% whipped cream
250 g of curd
100 g of dark chocolate
sugar, just a little, depends on how sweet you want it

one spoon of rum

Topping: 
80 g of butter
150 g of chocolate

Preparation:
Firstly, whisk together the egg whites with vanilla sugar. Then, in the second bowl, mix flour, salt and baking powder. Gradually add the egg yolks, milk and oil. In conclusion, gently fold in egg whites.

Bake at 160 degrees for about 45-55 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the filling. You can buy already prepared chocolate whipped cream in the store, but I highly recommend to use "real" chocolate and normal whipped cream. So, to save some time, I just melted the chocolate in a saucepan and add it to the bowl together with the cream. Then, I added the curd. You can add somesugar if you wish.

When the dough is col, drizzle one layer with rum. Spread the chocolate cream. Finally, melt the butter with the chocolate and pour over the finished cake.

It is amazing the first day when it is hot, but it is also great the second day.
