These cute little vanilla crescent cookies are my brothers favorite. Even though he will turn 18 soon, he still likes them. And he basically eat nothing else.
280 g plain flour
210 g butter
70 g powdered sugar
tablespoon of vanilla sugar
1 vanilla pod
70 g of grounded walnuts
2 egg yolks
bio lemon zest of half a lemon
+ Powdered sugar for sprinkling
Preparation:
Preparing rolls is relatively fast and easy. Mix all ingredients until you have beautifully smooth dough. Let it in the refrigerator overnight and the next day prepare the rolls. I roll thin snake, cut it into 2 cm pieces and make the rolls. Rather smaller because they gets bigger anyway during baking.
Bake at 160 degrees for about 8-10 minutes. While still warm, sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
