SAYING GOOD-BYE TO CESKY KRUMLOV

After a huge breakfast at our hotel, we were planning to have a last walk in Cesky Krumlov and close it with some lunch. The weather was perfect, I was actually sitting in the t-shirt on the sun! Just chilling out.

We started just like yesterday. With the exception that there were less people. A nice change if you ask me. The city was just waking up and we were full of energy. Ready to enjoy the last hours.

What you see above is a typical Czech cartoon character. Little mole. Known as krtecek. Love him, such a cutie!

This photo is how I would describe Czech little cities. Small colorful houses, river and hills in the back. Czechs love nature and almost every household has some garden. Anyway, living like this, by the river, must be pretty amazing.

And finally, lunch time. I was craving some sweet food so I went for plum dumplings with cinnamon and sugar. Man, these were delish! 4 warm curd dumplings with cinnamon, sugar and melted butter. If this will not make you satisfied, then nothing ever will!

And this is another easy Czech recipe. Cooked pork meat with horseradish, pickles and bread (which is not documented). Oh, and some mustard. An extra point for simple yet traditional food styling!

My dear folks, that is the end of our little escape in Cesky Krumlov. Yep, the rumors do not lie. The city is worth your time. If I would give you one advice, it would be to visit Cesky Krumlov in the summer. Or at least in June. Everything is open. We did not get the chance to see the castle, flower garden and open theatre. So, plan well!
