COZY CAFÉ CUKRKÁVALIMONÁDA

NOTE - CUKRKÁVALIMONÁDA IS A CZECH TONGUE TWISTER:)

When I once wandered around the Lesser Town, I came across this cafe. Its interior caught my eye at first glance. Moreover, it has an interesting name (in English Sugar Coffee Lemonade). I mentioned it to my friend and she told me that she knows it and is there almost every day :). So of course I had to try it :)

The waitresses are young ladies, who could perhaps be more professional, but they are friendly and always smiling (I'm allergic to arrogant service that only pretend to smile – it is all fake). During a week, it is less crowded but I had trouble finding the place and I had to wait about 10 minutes anyway. There are Czechs and foreigners as well. It is not a tourist cafe, although the location is in the touristic part of the city. I have not found them on Facebook but one small review will be good.

Cakes and pies and pastries are homemade. Prices are higher, but the quality is corresponding. The cafe also offers pancakes, pasta, soup, sandwiches and other dishes. Drinks are also great. I love the elderberry lemonade. Everyone can easily choose. Especially their pancakes. And desserts? Tempting! I did not know what to choose. The first time I had lemon meringue pie on the recommendation of service – it was excellent. Just more sweet than I am used to. The second time I tried the strawberry cheesecake and I could not complain.

This is exactly the type of café that I would like to see more in Prague. No worries, I can only recommend. I like these smaller restaurants and cafes, where everything is homemade, obviously made with love and respect.
